What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a safe, simple and effective method of exfoliating the skin, it immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outer most layers of dead skin cells and vellus hair also known as peach fuzz. This is done by surgical blade that is generally glided across your surface.
This is a completely pain free procedure with many benefits including minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and dry skin therefore leaving the skin smooth, subtle and vibrant.
This is by far one of the most popular treatments that my client base enjoys and greatly benefit from. I recommended this treatment every 4 to 6 weeks.
Prior to this treatment you have the option of having a consultation with me. I am unable to perform this treatment on anyone with active acne as I don’t want to irritate the skin.
If you have certain areas that have mild acne, we can avoid those areas. With previously having acne myself and struggling for many years, I feel that a consultation prior to this treatment is necessary.
The process of Dermaplaning
Step 1. – A Top of the range cleanser is massage it into the face, removing all the dirt and unwanted oils.
Step 2. – The clarifying cleanser is then activated with water which turns into a soft foam.
Step 3. – Your skin is then dehydrated ready for the treatment to begin.
Step 4. – After the treatment is completed a Vitamin serum is massage into the face, giving you that glowing complexion.
Step 5. – Once the serum has soaked into the skin an SPF is then applied.
Step 6. – And WHA – LA! Beautiful, fresh & glowing skin.
